The female body undergoes some miraculous changes as it carries a child. It is a unique moment before motherhood, full of anticipation. Although under harsh household light your body may look and feel ungainly and unattractive, under correct lighting your 'bump' will look the beautiful object it is. When your unborn child reaches adulthood how amazing for him or her to have an image of this moment when they were only imagined!
We understand that in the very early days of motherhood, it is hard to fit in a cup of tea. Trying to establish a sleep routine, breastfeeding and just getting to know your new baby. The last thing a new mother thinks about is getting the baby photographed. We have set up a 'Bump to Baby' photography package to ensure maternity and those early days of babyhood are captured, as stress free as possible.
This offer gives the mother 2 sittings for the price of 1. Both sittings in the privacy and calm of home with our home visit portraiture service. One of your 'bump' and one of your new born baby* with its tiny fingers and toes. This gives an expectant mother the opportunity to pre-book the session, before the inevitable chaos.
As with all our home visits, we work around your schedule. If your baby needs a feed we can wait. If your baby is sleeping, we can photograph your sleeping baby.... this is often the best way to photograph a tiny infant, it is less instrusive and much easier to photograph tiny fingers and hands!
