Sam And Matt | An Interesting Entrance!

Samantha and Mathew | Wedding Photographer Priest House Hotel

A stunning venue:

Samantha and Matt were married on the 21st July at The Priest house Hotel in Castle Donnington. It sits on the bank of a river which was wonderful for wedding portraits. Sam prepared for her wedding in the Lodge, a spectacularly pretty cottage at the entrance to the hotel. It was so quirky and a maze of little rooms and staircases! It was a relaxed morning and Sam looked incredible in her dress supplied by Wed2B. The lovely Laura Firth from Victory Rolls prepared her hair and makeup and Sam’s flowers were provided by AA Moore.

A romantic wedding from the start and wonderfully taken over by their little daughter who decided the best place to be was in her mummies arms, during the ceremony and especially during the confetti tunnel! (who wouldn’t!).

The weather was warm and fine and the venue provided a warm hazy backdrop to the wedding portraits. I loved the river bank, it was very dreamy for portraits and later in the evening the low sun created some lovely light for me to work with.

Selfie Stick Entrance:

A particularly memorable moment during the wedding was when Samantha and Matt made their entrance into the wedding breakfast. Holding a selfie stick they walked around the room to loud applause, pausing at each table for a selfie portrait. I thought it was a fantastic idea and the guests all posed as they walked through the room.

A fun filled day that ended on a very well danced first dance. It was so pleasurable to spend time photographing such happy families.
