Emily and Ashton | Tipi Wedding Photographer

A Beautiful Sunny Day

A Tipi Wedding

Wow what a summer for weather this year! The wedding of Emily and Ashton was just perfect in every way. They chose a Tipi Wedding and it could not have had a better location..in the church grounds! The Tipi was just beautiful and with a BBQ planned for the wedding breakfast it was set to be a wonderful day.

St Helens Church in Gumley

The ceremony was so emotive and St Helen’s Church in Gumley is so pretty. I am contributing to the Church roof every year with my Bluebell Wood portraiture so I am very familiar with the setting. After the ceremony, it was a very short walk to the wedding reception!

Woodland Portraits and a Best Friend.

Emily had many fond memories of the woods around Gumley Church and where better to have her wedding portraits. We also had a visit from her best friend who just had to feature in a few of her photographs.

Beautiful and Perfectly Lazy

With a BBQ, tug-of-war, Jenga and even a Mr and Mrs game the afternoon merged into the evening. The Tug-of-War was a brilliant idea, with a competition organised between the families and friend groups. There was a little bit of cheating going on though….. I have photographic evidence!

Fron Sunshine to Sunset

What a wonderful wedding. Such a great location for a Tipi reception and Emily and Ashton loved every minute of it. There wasn’t a moment in the day where I didn’t see a smile on their faces. Their first dance was beautifully choreographed and in the warmth of the evening and fire pits lit I am sure the party continued well into the night.

I am nearly fully booked for summer 2019 but please get in touch i’d like to book the last few dates. 2020 is set to be a very busy year!
