All Natural | Lucinda & Daniel

It was a particularly hot dat for the wedding of Lucinda and Daniel at Fawsley Hall this July. Both Lucinda and Daniel had asked for all natural photography with no group shots at all. I usually advise against having no group shots, just in case I miss a guest out! If Great Aunt Mary sits in the same chair most of the evening I may only take one photograph and I always suggest the group shots are important for the family. In this case however Lucinda and Daniel were adamant that there were to be no group shots and as much natural photography as possible, so this is exactly what I arrived prepared to do. I have to say, I think Lucinda was one of my most relaxed brides to date! She had a beautiful dress and the hippy styled bridesmaids with their floral hair ties all looks so beautiful together in the grounds of Fawsley.  It was a lovely ceremony, albeit in full sun! Lucinda and Daniel’s son gave a very lovely reading about a crocodile which I found particularly cute.

I took Lucinda and Daniel away to the back of the house to the manicured gardens for some of my natural photographs, no off-camera flash here as they didn’t want to spend long away from their guests and really didn’t want to be posed for their photographs. I had them walk together and have a laugh together while I hid in lavender and photographed them through the trees, they relaxed into the photography after a short while and we had some fun.

I stayed late to photograph the dinky cake being cut and then the first dance. Even then Lucinda was keen for it to be over so she could let her hair down and party! She had a lovely dance with her dad just before I left for the evening.  A very, very relaxed wedding at Fawsley!

Here is a little selection of the images taken on the day, I have almost finished editing this wedding, all going to plan the gallery will be ready next week x 🙂 See I am keeping up!
