A Glamorous Wedding at Normanton Church in Rutland | Wedding photography Normanton Church.

It was a late start for me at this wedding as Marta and Shinal wanted me to stay until the sun set to photograph the atmosphere of their evening celebrations. The weather was just perfect, warm and sunny with occasional cloud. The wedding started at 4.00 at the spectacular Normanton church in Rutland, the location is just stunning and it was such an emotive ceremony. I have never seen so many photographers though! It was quite mental, so many guests with cameras it really was paparazzi! You really can’t go wrong with wedding photography at Normanton Church, (well it would be embarassing if it did!) I used my off-camera flash to add a bit of glamour to the pictures of Marta and Shinal, with the sunlit sky and Normanton church as backdrop there was such drama! Marta and Shinal wanted me to concentrate on the atmosphere and candid photography so group shot lists went out the window! We went back to the Finches Arms in Hambleton for the wedding breakfast and evening celebration, Marta and Shinal had set up a lovely wooden picture frame which was a brilliant idea for photographing family groups and many came up as and when they wanted.

The couple had organised a BBQ for the guests which I have to say was so delicious. The guests were so kind and determined for me and Piotr to enjoy the food, we had to keep turning down the champagne! The celebrations went well into the warm evening with fairy lights lighting the veranda and the dancing was still going on strong when I left after 10pm. Mara and Shinal are such a lovely couple and it was such a very happy day, they are so obviously in love with each other.

It was such a pleasure being around their friends and family for the day. Here is a little sneak preview at some of the photographs we took on the day.
